Favourite Way of Fishing:
Favourite method for me is paste down the edge. I will use the smallest float conditions will allow and fish it at dead depth letting the paste cock the float. I have caught a lot of fish using this method and will try and get it to work as often as I can.
People have different views on what is a bite whilst paste fishing and that depends on the day as well. You have to work out how to get the fish to feed properly as missed bites are common with this style of fishing and you will pull your hair out with frustration.
When this style of fishing works it is unbeatable and catches you big weights of fish.
One tip for you if you are struggling with this method is to ask a top paste angler to show you how to fish it or if he minds you sitting behind and watching him.
